Welcome to EarthScienceIsCool.net British Columbia EAGLECAM
Click on this Global Climate Change >research explorer link and you can explore scientific data relating to the atmosphere, the oceans, the areas covered by ice and snow, and the living organisms in all these domains. You’ll also get a sense of how scientists study natural phenomena—how researchers gather evidence, test theories, and come to conclusions. I traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark to attend the Teachers' COP15 conference 'Inspiring Climate Education' (ICE2009)
CLARKSON UNIVERSITY, POTSDAM, NEW YORK. I was selected for the 2010 summer project-based global climate change education curriculum development workshop to develop new project-based Units for the classroom using NASA climate data. Teachers who are committed to learn climate change science, the impacts of climate change on our planet will work together to create inquiry- and project-based learning experiences and lessons that highlight and integrate NASA earth observation system data and models. New units will be piloted in 2010-2011 academic year. Last changed: Apr 22 2010 at 11:42 AM Back | ||
