Overview
Extra-Credit work is due by the specified deadline per quarter and is averaged as a percentage grade with Quiz/Review. You are given an opportunity for extra-credit to serve as enrichment for concepts taught in class. However, the grades do affect your overall average and may be useful if you had done poorly on a particular assignment.
The maximum of 10 points may be earned, unless you choose an individual project that is worth more than that. In the case of a higher point project, you can earn the maximum of the total points of that project.
This is calculated by multiplying the total number of extra-credit points by the total of Quiz/Review Assignments for that quarter. In the 1st Quarter the max is 10 points times 8 quiz/reviews or 80 points.
