Weather at the Beekmantown Weather Station. The weather station is located on the roof of the main building. The weather server (WxServer) was created and is maintained by me, Mr. Danville. I applied for a grant in 1998 and received funding for the weather station and video production equipment for use with my students. In September 2012, I applied to DonorsChoose.org for a new weather station to replace the old failing weather station and amazingly was fully funded within a few weeks.
Checkout the BCS WxStation Wunderground Summary Page The weather data is available via this website and is integrated into Google, WeatherUnderground.com, PWSweather.org, and WeatherForYou.com. Weather data from the BCS weather station is also integrated into the student-produced weather sequences via the Student Meteorology program that I have created and sponsor.

The Climate Change Experience is an inquiry- based learning opportunity for students. Students present their productions/presentations at the end of the year at the Earth science Climate Change Symposium at the school in May.
Click on this Global Climate Change >research explorer link and you can explore scientific data relating to the atmosphere, the oceans, the areas covered by ice and snow, and the living organisms in all these domains. You’ll also get a sense of how scientists study natural phenomena—how researchers gather evidence, test theories, and come to conclusions.
