COPENHAGEN, DENMARK. I was surprised to find out that I was the only U.S. K-12 Teacher to attend the Teachers' COP15 Inspiring Climate Education conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Institute of Studies, based in Chazy, New York, was founded in 2008 as a noprofit (pending) organization. The intent is to educate the public and encourage discussion of climate change, its impact on the North Country through research and peer-reviewed data presentations. The Institute of Climate Studies, USA sponsored me at the Teachers' COP15 Inspiring Climate Education Conference 2009 that I attended in October when I traveled to Copenhagen, Denmark
